Spain’s e-invoicing and digital tax compliance framework
Spain is strengthening its digital tax compliance framework through multiple initiatives. E-invoicing is already mandatory for B2G transactions, while upcoming obligations under the Ley Crea y Crece will extend e-invoicing to B2B transactions through a phased approach. In parallel, systems such as SII and Veri*Factu, with mandatory adoption starting in 2027, reinforce real-time reporting and invoice integrity requirements.
